At just 20 years old, singer-songwriter Karli Webster has a vision of following in the footsteps of 70’s greats like Carly Simon and Stevie Nicks with a message of empowerment for women.
The Canyon Country resident made it through the Blind Auditions on the NBC singing competition show “The Voice” last week, landing a spot on Miley Cyrus’ team for her rendition of “You’re So Vain.”

“When she was talking to me and she spoke a lot about empowering women and how she wants to represent women that work hard, that really spoke to me,” Webster said of her decision to choose Cyrus as her coach. “Because that’s exactly what I want to do. I want to be able to make a mark on this show as someone who sang songs of empowering women.”
